The Position

To manage and direct end to end IT Service and Support function in a
cost effective and efficient manner for Emirates Group - Outstation
offices. To manage customer expectations and target an uptime of 99%
for all IT systems thus making the business community more productive
and efficient; and to produce data evidence/reports to this effect.

Review customer requirements and expectations; and manage provision of
service and support as per the agreed SLA and within Emirates Group IT
policy frame work.
Review and maintain service and support standards on an ongoing basis,
and establish clear quality criteria for all stakeholders.
Manage timely completion of installation, maintenance, and upgrade of
highly complex systems and ensure that the quality checks are
performed and maintained as required.
Manage the installation and implementation of automation utilities
across customer groups to reduce cost of operation in terms of
manpower and hardware resources.

Experience and Qualifications

Degree or Honours in a subject relevant to IT (12+3or equivalent)
Minimum 8 years experience in the technical service and support area
having performed in a high pressure environment in a complex operation.
Experience in the airline industry would be an advantage
